A great Aikido seminar with Jöran Fagerlund Sensei has come to an end. Throughout the weekend, we worked with ken, taijutsu, and jo, exploring kumitachi and its variations, kumijo, and the close relationship between sword work and empty-handed technique. The focus was on understanding how these elements connect and inform one another in practice.

We were very happy to welcome participants from Italy, the UK, and Limerick, and to share the mat with people who travelled under challenging conditions. Despite heavy rain and flooding, including the dojo being flooded the day before the seminar, everything came together smoothly and the atmosphere on the mat was excellent.
