Raman Bekarevich, the founder and chief instructor of Takemusu Aikido Society, have studied Aikido in Japan for a decade under top-level instructors, including direct students of Morihei Ueshiba. Raman obtained the 2nd and 3rd dan from Hiroki Nemoto sensei. He arrived in Ireland in 2020 and began to teach takemusu aikido in Balbriggan and Dublin city centre. In early 2025 Raman obtained the rank of 4 dan from Ulf Evenas shihan.
Jan Toth
1 dan Aikido Aikikai
Jan Toth, an assistant instructor and children officer of Takemusu Aikido Society, has practised Aikido for more than a decade and has extensive experience of training in Japanese dojo. Jan obtained his 1 dan from Ulf Evenas sensei in 2025. In 2023 he spent 3 weeks as uchideshi in Iwama.

Shigemi Inagaki

Aikido Aikikai
Shigemi Inagaki Shihan was born and raised in Iwama, Japan. He began training under the founder, Morihei Ueshiba, in 1958, and after graduating from university in 1969 spent 2½ years as uchi-deshi under Morihiro Saito at the Ibaraki Branch Dojo (original Iwama Dojo). He later served many decades as sōtō-deshi, travelling with Saito-sensei and appearing as his weapons partner in the classic “Traditional Aikido” books and films. Inagaki Shihan is now General Manager and senior instructor at the Ibaraki Shibu Dojo, holds 8th Dan Aikikai, and regularly teaches seminars worldwide — including in Myanmar, Europe, South America and the USA.
Ulf Evenås

Aikido Aikikai
Ulf Evenås Shihan began Aikido in 1968 and in 1973 went to Iwama, where he became a close student of Morihiro Saito Sensei. Over nearly thirty years he trained regularly under Saito Sensei, both as uchi-deshi and sotodeshi. Evenås Shihan established Gothenburg Aikido Club in 1969, which remains his home dojo. He was appointed Saito Sensei’s representative, responsible for teaching Takemusu Aikido on his behalf in Northern and Western Europe. He has conducted hundreds of seminars worldwide and holds full certification in Aiki-ken and Aiki-jo. He was awarded 6th Dan Aikikai by Morihiro Saito in 1992 and received 8th Dan Aikikai in 2025.
